Your Support Needed

We are excited to share some important updates about the transport plan for the Master’s Tour 2025. With a high number of attendees expected, we want to ensure everything runs smoothly, especially in our sensitive neighbourhood. To minimise traffic disruptions and respect our neighbours and local authorities, we are introducing a bus riding system for sangat in Auckland and out-of-Auckland areas. This system has been successfully used in other international centres, and we are confident it will work here too.

Why This System?
  • As Ihumatao Road has a single exit, there is a possibility of significant traffic delays.
  • To reduce traffic congestion and disruptions in our neighbourhood.
  • To reduce load on the car park.
Highlights of the Plan
  • Only limited bus coupons available and will be sold at any satsang centre on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • When you present your tickets to bus sevadars, anyone who intends to sit in the hall will be given a wristband. Those who intend. to be in the family area do not need a wristband.
  • The first few seats in the main hall, including some translation seats, will be reserved for bus riders.
  • Early Comers by Car: Sangat arriving early by car directly to the Ihumatao Road property will not be allowed to enter the property before 6:00 AM or access the main hall before 7:00 AM. Early comers will need to wait in their cars in the far-end car park until the hall opens at 7:00 AM. Please note that no facilities will be available in the car park during this time. Since front seats are reserved for bus riders, there is no advantage to coming early by private car.
Offsite Parking & Bus Service
  • We have arranged offsite parking at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (79-85 Kirkbride Road, Mangere, Auckland⤴️) for two days.
  • Parking opens at 5:00 AM, and buses will run from 5:30 AM to 7:30 AM.

    Please note, there will be no bus service after 7:30 AM

  • Important: There is no entry to the church parking area before 5:00 AM. Sangat is requested not to line up their cars before this time and there is no advantage to doing so.
  • Note: There is no guarantee you will get a front seat even if you board the bus first. We will use a random seat selection process while offloading sangat from the buses at the venue to ensure fairness.

You must show your pre-purchased bus coupon to board the bus. After verification, you’ll receive a wristband for front seats in the main hall, including the front-most seats with headphones for translation.

Hotel Pickups
  • Sangat staying at our recommended hotels can use the following pickup points:
    • Sudima Hotel
    • Holiday Inn
    • Airport Kiwi Hotel
  • First bus: 5:30 AM | Last bus: 7:30 AM
  • Important: Only guests staying at our recommended hotels can use this service. If you’re staying elsewhere, please use the church pickup point.
  • Note: Hotel parking is limited. Sangat should not leave their cars in these hotels if they are not staying there, as vehicles may be towed or ticketed.
Bus Coupons
  • Cost: $10 per person per day (covers both to and from the venue).
  • Children under 5: Free (no coupon needed).
  • Children above 5: Must purchase a coupon.
  • Parents with children:
    • If sitting in the family area, you won’t receive a wristband.
    • If one parent is going to the main hall, they will receive a wristband.
  • Where to buy:
    • Auckland sangat: Info desk before/after satsang.
    • Out-of-Auckland sangat: At your local centre/from your Regional Accommodation Sevadar
Bus Coupon Process – Morning and After Programme
  • Each day requires two coupons:
    • “In” coupon: For the journey to the venue (morning).
    • “Out” coupon: For the return journey after the programme.
  • Morning process: Sangat will show their In coupon to receive a wristband.
  • Return process: Sangat must show their Out coupon before boarding the bus after the programme.
  • Food packs: Sangat will have time to collect food packs before boarding the Out bus. We recommend that you pre-purchase coupons for food packs at your local satsang Centre, so that you and your family don’t need to queue to purchase the coupons on the day itself.
